I purchased this bracket to mount seat # 7927 to a 15 year old tractor. The bracket works for me. I would recommend this product.

Perfect Fit for my LX 178 - Perfect fit for the high back seat K&M sells for a John Deere lawn tractor. Holes all line up for instant mounting. Shipped very quickly. Thanks!

Built ok - not for all however - Bought this to use with a generic brand tractor seat on our John Deere 445. Unfortunately, the bracket needed some adjustments. The holes that the seat rod goes thru needed drilling out for the rod to fit. Additionally, I had to take 1/4" off the outside of the steel plate because it was sitting on top of the seat platform causing the seat to lift and not sit down properly to engage the kill switch. After trimming the 1/4" off it's better, but not perfect.
